Stefano De Luigi (Cologne, 1964) Italian/French. 

Lives in Paris from 1989 to 1996 and back in 2013. 

He  started his carrier working as photographer for  Louvre Museum (1991-93)

 

He has  published 7 books Pornoland (Thames&Hudson 2004) Blanco (Trolleybook 2010)  iDyssey (Bessard Edition 2017) Babel with Michela Battaglia (Postcart 2018) Pornoland Redux  ( Self-published 2021) Il Bel Paese ( Artiere 2023) Televisiva (Artiere 2024) .

 

Among the others Stefano De Luigi awards  won the W.E. Smith fellowship grant (2007)  4 times the World Press Photo( 1998/2007/2010/2011), 

the Getty Grant for editorial photography and Days Japan (2010)

Strategie Fotografiche Italian Ministry of Culture 2022,  French German cultural fund (2026), Supporting grant from French Fine Arts Academy (2026). 

 

He has worked with several international publications such as New Yorker ,Geo, Paris Match, Stern. 

 

He has exhibited his work in Paris, Geneva,  New York, Rome, London, Belgrade, Athens, Istanbul .

 

Stefano De Luigi is a member of VIIFoundation since 2008. He lives in Paris
