Stefano De Luigi (Cologne, 1964) Italian/French. 

Lives in Paris from 1989 to 1996 and back in 2013. 

He  started his carrier working as photographer for  Louvre Museum (1991-93)

 

He has  published 7 books Pornoland (Thames&Hudson 2004) Blanco (Trolleybook 2010)  iDyssey (Bessard Edition 2017) Babel with Michela Battaglia (Postcart 2018) Pornoland Redux  ( Self-published 2021) Il Bel Paese ( Artiere 2023) Televisiva (Artiere 2024) .

 

Stefano De Luigi  is the recipient  the W.E. Smith fellowship grant (2007)  four times the World Press Photo( 1998/2007/2010/2011),  the Getty Grant for editorial photography and Days Japan ( both 2010) Strategie Fotografiche Italian Ministry of Culture (2022),  French German cultural fund , Supporting grant from French Fine Arts Academy ( both 2026). ​

 

He has exhibited his work in Paris, Geneva,  New York, Washington, Beijing, Rome, London, Belgrade, Athens, Istanbul .

 

Stefano De Luigi is a contributing photographer of VIIFoundation since 2008.
